Merit offers an extensive line of thermowells manufactured for use with our TRD9 Series Adjustable Angle liquid in glass industrial thermometers. Standard materials available include Brass,  Lead-Free Brass, 304 Stainless Steel and 316 Stainless Steel, each manufactured to fit the standard tapered aluminum stem of 9" industrial thermometers. Standard threads are1-1/4"-18 UNEF  female (thermometer) connection x 1/2" NPT or 3/4" NPT male connection. Thermowells are available to fit the 3.5" or 6" stem 9" industrial thermometer. 6" stem thermowells are available with out without a lagging extension.
